Calux Joia Do Mar Resort - Calangute - Baga

The resort has a great location nearby to two most popular beaches. Rooms are spacious and they provide good service. the breakfast is delicious and they offer a pool with poolside bar and swimming costumes at a minor charge. Multiple facilities such as arranging taxi and self-drive car/bike are available.

Some parts of the resort are old and in need of maintenance.

Not value for price I've paid. The room was absolutlely awful, the sheets and towels dirty (blood and other things), the bathroom was uncleaned at least for months, really a nightmare, we had to ask for cleaning the room twice, and they came at 06.30 in the morning to clean, incredible. Breakfast poor and no place to have it, no chairs or table. The staff was unfriendly, unhelped, and it seems they don't care. From outside it looks an amazing place but inside everything is old and dirty, curtains, windows, floor, everything, so so dirty. Power cuts all the time. No restaurant facilities, no hot water at shower. There is a swimming pool that have music until 06.00 am, imposible sleep if your room is near (we changed it). You can't pay by credit card, and they try to charge us more money. The worst hotel I've ever been in my life.

The location was good and at a good price point. Overall every thing was good including food.

The only problem we suffered was there is no back up generator. This is a necessity according to me. Rest all was good.

The staff were friendly and humble. Safety measures in the pool were excellent. Clean rooms with basic amenities. Well-maintained gardens and pool. Quick and responsive customer service. Good security arrangements.

Normal but clean rooms, nothing fancy. The gardens & pool well taken care of and nice. Stayed there 2 nights which was enough.

It's indicated that hotel do have wifi but this was not the case (or maybe it did not work due to rain...?!), the internal phone did not work either (probably also due to rain?). Location not good at all if one is interested of being close to beautiful beaches.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the center of baga and had a wonderful experience. the hotel staff were genuinely courteous and attentive, always willing to help. Secondly, the location was perfect, with popular places like baga beach and calangute beach just a short distance away. Lastly, the rooms were luxurious and well-maintained, making me feel like I was in a higher-star hotel. this hotel offers great value for money and I would definitely return.

Spent Easter break at a hotel with good breakfast and friendly staff. Location allowed easy access to both the beach and local attractions. Relaxing pool with a poolside bar was a big hit.

Despite the spacious rooms, some parts of the hotel were not well maintained and the toiletries were subpar. The hotel did not provide basic amenities like a hair dryer or hand towels, resulting in an inconvenience.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The best aspects were clean rooms, lovely gardens and pool, and friendly staff. we appreciated the safety measures put in place at the pool to prevent injuries.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. the value for money was excellent, especially considering the clean and spacious rooms. Secondly, the location was perfect as it was in the center of Baga, with beaches and local attractions just minutes away. Additionally, the staff were fantastic - always friendly and ready to assist with any requests. Lastly, the breakfast offered a delicious selection of dishes that satisfied my taste buds.

All was perfect during my stay at this hotel.

Had a romantic escape and it was nice to have most basic amenities in this resort. The staff was courteous and prompt with fulfilling our requests. The location was close to the beach and some good restaurants. The view from the room was pleasant.

The pool was not clean and sometimes the electricity would go out. These were a bit of a downer during our trip, and we wished that the hotel had paid more attention to maintenance.
